PLEASE HELP US HELP THE CHILDREN

We are currently fundraising in aid of the CHILDREN’S CANCER INSTITUTE OF AUSTRALIA, researching to find the cure of childhood cancer. We are very passionate about the work of the CCIA which could save the lives of our own children or grandchildren in the future. We are hoping that the cure of childhood cancer is found soon, so that all the children can be saved and that no mother will ever again lose a child to this dreadful disease.

We, the executive committee of the Organisation of Hellene and Hellene Cypriot Women of Australia (OEEGA NSW Inc) would be very grateful for any support you and your organisation would be able to offer to the OEEGA Foundraising for the Children's Cancer Institute Australia.
Head of the CCIA’s Pharmacoproteomics Program is the President of the Australian Society for Medical Research A/Professor Dr. Maria Kavallaris.

Professor Kavallaris is not only a brilliant scientist and a multi international award winner for her cancer research, but also one of us, a Hellene Woman.  Her parents were born in Cyprus and Maria decided to devote her life to the search for the cure of childhood cancer, when as a little girl she too was struck by the disease and luckily, survived.

The OEEGA fundraiser dinner dance in aid of the CCIA will be drawn on Friday 28th May 2010,  at the Grand Roxy Function Centre, starting at 7.30 pm.
